This iconic appearance represents Princess Shuri stepping forward as Wakanda's champion in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022). Following the tragic deaths of King T'Challa and Queen Ramonda, Shuri successfully synthesizes a new Heart-Shaped Herb using Vibranium and modern technology. Upon consuming the herb and visiting the Ancestral Plane—where she encounters a vision of Killmonger (N'Jadaka)—she emerges clad in her custom-crafted Black Panther Habit. Shuri leads the Wakandan military forces, the Dora Milaje, and the Midnight Angels into open battle aboard the Sea Leopard naval vessel and in the desert sands against Namor (K'uk'ulkan) and the underwater warriors of Talokan.
