After defeating Kenta and saving Arashikage Castle, Snake Eyes is judged pure of heart by clan leader Sen, successfully passing the third trial in the anaconda pit. Scarlett then reveals that Snake Eyes' late father was a covert operative for G.I. Joe under General Joe Colton and offers him a position within the organization. Choosing instead to search for Tommy—who was disinherited by the clan for using the Jewel of the Sun in anger—Snake Eyes receives a bag from Akiko containing his iconic black shinobi suit. He dons the sleek armor and visor, mounts his motorcycle, and rides off to track down his blood brother.

He wields Morning Light, an ancient Arashikage heirloom katana gifted to him by Tommy, representing honor over firearms.
