Cronologia
Biografia
Donald Duck is the Royal Magician of Disney Castle and a loyal servant to King Mickey.
In the Kingdom Hearts universe, he is a primary companion to Sora and Goofy, tasked with finding the 'Key' to ensure the worlds' survival.
Despite his short fuse and occasional stubbornness, Donald is a deeply caring friend who provides the group's essential magical support. As a high-ranking official in Disney Castle, he answers to Queen Minnie and Daisy Duck but often finds himself on the front lines of cosmic battles. He is driven by a strong sense of duty to his King and a growing bond with Sora, often acting as the pragmatic, though hot-headed, voice of the trio.
Storia
Donald's origins are rooted in the very beginnings of his world, existing long before Disney Castle was even constructed, during the era known as Timeless River.
He was trained in the mystic arts under the tutelage of the great wizard Merlin, eventually earning the prestigious title of Royal Magician.
He resides at the castle with his nephews, Huey, Dewey, and Louie, and his wealthy uncle, Scrooge McDuck. His journey into the wider worlds began when King Mickey disappeared, leaving a letter that prompted Donald and Goofy to seek out the Keyblade wielder in Traverse Town.

Evoluzione
Donald's character has seen a significant journey from his 1934 debut as a lazy neighbor to a heroic defender of the worlds. In his early years, he was primarily a comic foil defined by his failures and frustration.
However, the Kingdom Hearts franchise introduced a more competent, disciplined, and courageous side of Donald. While he retains his signature temper, he has evolved into a master magician capable of high-level sorcery that even shocks seasoned masters. Recent media, such as the 2017 DuckTales reboot, further expanded his depth by showcasing him as a protective guardian and a seasoned adventurer with a complex family history.
