Jack Sparrow (Disney Mirrorverse) is an alternate, amplified version of the legendary Pirates of the Caribbean captain featured in Kabam's 2022 mobile action-RPG Disney Mirrorverse. Known as the 'Curse Collector,' this version of Jack leverages Stellar Magic to turn pirate curses and afflictions into powerful magical abilities to support his allies against the Fractured.
La Scena
This appearance represents Captain Jack Sparrow as he manifests within the divergent stellar universe of Disney Mirrorverse. Serving as a Support Guardian, Jack stands amidst battles against the Fractured forces, channeling dark energies and supernatural magic through his transformed body rather than fleeing from the nautical curses that once haunted him across the Seven Seas.
Significato
This incarnation reimagines Jack Sparrow's tragic lore into a heroic asset within the Mirrorverse storyline. Instead of being victimized by the Black Spot or skeletal curses like the Aztec gold affliction, Stellar Magic allows Jack to manipulate these debuffs, converting harmful status effects into blessings and healing for his team. His debut expanded the character into the action-RPG realm and spawned dedicated physical collectibles, including figures by McFarlane Toys.
Design
Jack retains his iconic pirate aesthetic, including his dark tricorn hat, long coat, braided hair adorned with trinkets, and red bandana. However, his right arm is drastically altered by the Black Spot and Stellar Magic, transforming it into a glowing, magical skeleton hand. This striking visual element pays homage to both the cursed skeleton form from the Treasure of Cortés and his history with Davy Jones and the Kraken.
