Cronologia
Biografia

Maki Matsumoto, operating under the alias Lady Bullseye, is a formidable assassin, mercenary, and trained defense attorney operating primarily out of Tokyo and New York City.
Conceived as a female counterpart to the assassin Bullseye, she lives a dual life: conducting brutal physical attacks as an elite martial artist by night while manipulating legal proceedings as a defense lawyer by day.
Throughout her comic book history, Lady Bullseye has aligned with high-profile criminal syndicates and villain groups, including The Hand, Wilson Fisk's syndicate, Baron Zemo's Army of Evil, the Masters of Evil West Coast, and Octavia Vermis's Anti-Arach9. She famously manipulated street-level power structures in New York, driving Matt Murdock to assume control of The Hand and later reviving the original Bullseye after he was paralyzed. Beyond the comic page, Lady Bullseye serves as a prominent antagonist in animated television series such as Hit-Monkey, where she operates as a high-stakes hitwoman whose deadly legacy continues even in spectral ghost form.
Storia

Born in Tokyo, Japan, Maki Matsumoto's early life was marked by tragedy when she was kidnapped as a young girl by the Yakuza, who planned to sell her and others into sexual slavery.
Her destiny shifted permanently when the hitman Bullseye unexpectedly raided the Yakuza hideout on an unrelated job and effortlessly slaughtered her captors. Mesmerized by his casual lethality, Maki escaped and pledged her life to emulating him.
She underwent extensive physical and intellectual training to become a killer. She was mentored by Master Izo, who trained her in martial arts under the promise that she would eventually lead The Hand. Concurrently, Maki earned a legal degree, giving her the civilian identity of a lawyer to target her enemies both inside the courtroom and on the battlefield.

Evoluzione
Lady Bullseye's narrative evolution spans from a rogue assassin within The Hand to a widely sought mercenary across the Marvel Universe. Introduced in 2008 as a complex antagonist for Daredevil, her initial storylines revolved around high-stakes power struggles to reform the leadership of The Hand, leveraging her civilian legal career to frame Matt Murdock while staging attacks at night. Over the years, her scope broadened beyond Hell's Kitchen.
She joined prominent villain factions such as Baron Zemo's Army of Evil, the Masters of Evil West Coast, and the Anti-Arach9 squad. Her rivalry with Elektra introduced a lasting physical consequence when she was left permanently facial-scarred after losing her brief mystical vapor powers. In media adaptations, Lady Bullseye evolved from comic pages into animated television. Her portrayal in Hit-Monkey reimagined her role into a recurring spectral mentor, extending her character's impact beyond her physical death.
