Cronologia
Biografia
Rey is a Force-sensitive human hero who spent much of her youth as a solitary scavenger on the desert world of Jakku. Her life changed dramatically when she rescued the astromech droid BB-8 and met former First Order stormtrooper Finn.
Thrust into a galactic conflict, she escaped Jakku aboard the Millennium Falcon and sought out the Resistance. Mentored initially by Han Solo and later trained by legendary Jedi Masters Luke Skywalker and General Leia Organa, Rey quickly discovered her innate strength in the Force and her unique bond with Kylo Ren.
Throughout her struggle against the First Order, Rey searched for her origins and purpose. Although she discovered she was the biological granddaughter of the resurrected Sith Emperor Palpatine, Rey rejected her dark heritage. Aided by the spirits of past Jedi and her redeemed Dyad partner Ben Solo, she defeated Palpatine on the Sith world of Exegol. Choosing her own destiny, she adopted the name Rey Skywalker on Tatooine and took up the mantle of restoring the Jedi Order.
Storia
Rey was born in 15 ABY on the planet Hyperkarn to Dathan and Miramir. Dathan was an artificial genetic strandcast clone of Emperor Sheev Palpatine who lacked Force sensitivity. However, Rey inherited her grandfather's powerful connection to the Force.
Recognizing her potential as a host vessel for his spirit, Palpatine dispatched the Sith cultist Ochi of Bestoon to capture the young girl. To save their daughter, Rey's parents hid as ordinary junk traders across the galaxy.
In 21 ABY, her parents hid Rey on Jakku under the care of junk boss Unkar Plutt at Niima Outpost before being captured and killed by Ochi above the planet. Growing up alone, Rey made her home inside a downed Imperial AT-AT walker named Hellhound Two in the Goazon Badlands. To survive, she scavenged military wreckage in the Starship Graveyard, marked daily scratches on her wall, practiced on a Y-wing flight simulator, and held onto hope that her family would one day return for her.

Evoluzione
Rey's narrative arc represents a profound shift from a lonely desert scavenger clinging to the past into an empowered Jedi Master defining the future. During her early life on Jakku, Rey was defined by isolation and denial, repeatedly counting the days on her wall while waiting for parents who would never return. Her self-reliance and mechanical ingenuity kept her alive, but her fear of moving forward held her back from accepting her true potential.
Upon embracing her Force sensitivity, Rey underwent rapid personal growth through her training under Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, and Leia Organa. Her greatest emotional hurdle was accepting her heritage as the granddaughter of Darth Sidious. By rejecting Palpatine's legacy, honoring the sacrifices of her parents, and adopting the Skywalker surname, Rey transformed from an abandoned orphan into a confident Jedi guardian who carries the legacy of the Jedi into a new era.
