MaterialePlasticMaterialePlasticGar Saxon, the assault captain of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, appears in a 6‑inch Black Series figure. This edition captures the essence of the Imperial commander with the line’s typical precision and articulation, offering collectors a faithful piece to the animated series.
The Scene
The figure faithfully recreates Gar Saxon's appearance in the role of Imperial Super Commando, as seen in the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2020‑2022) and Star Wars Rebels. The design focuses on the iconic black and red armor, completed by the characteristic horned helmet that defines the character’s silhouette in these appearances.
The Character
Beyond the role of a simple enforcer, Gar Saxon embodies the transformation of the Death Watch under Maul’s leadership, marking the apex of Shadow Collective power during the chaotic final days of the Clone Wars. His ferociously sworn loyalty to the Inquisitor and key commander role reflect the critical period when Maul’s forces controlled Mandalore, making him a foundational pillar for understanding the Mandalorian narrative arc in this particular era of the saga.
Why Collect It
For detail‑savvy collectors, this figure represents a vital piece for completing the visual narrative of the Black Series dedicated to The Clone Wars. It’s not just another Imperial soldier, but the embodiment of a specific era of the saga where the line between the Clone Wars and the rise of the Empire blurs dangerously. Displayed beside other 6‑inch line figures, Gar Saxon adds that note of narrative tension that elevates the display from simple exhibit to a reconstruction of a galactic historical moment. It’s the kind of piece that turns a collection into a story, offering aesthetic and thematic value far beyond a mere sculpture.
