It’s more than just a model: it’s the starting point of a story, ready to transform your display space into a premium interstellar stop.
The Scene
This miniature faithfully reproduces the iconic look of the Planet Express starship, the unmistakable symbol of the animated series Futurama (1999). The model captures the delivery vehicle’s distinctive silhouette, offering a visual snapshot of the vehicle that has travelled through the ages as the franchise’s logistical hero. It’s a direct and recognisable depiction of the spaceship, designed to immediately evoke the atmosphere of the original series without additional narrative context.
The Character
In Futurama lore, the Planet Express ship is more than a simple mode of transport: it’s the beating heart of a cosmic era of chaos and adventure. Since its debut in 1999 with the pilot episode Space Pilot 3000, this iconic green vehicle has carried Fry, Leela, and Bender on delivery missions that defy logic, confronting lethal threats and criminal organisations across the galaxy. Operated by Professor Farnsworth’s shipping company, the ship is known for taking on assignments no other firm would dare pursue, becoming the ultimate symbol of resilience and futuristic ingenuity. Its narrative role is vital: every journey in this ship is not just a delivery but an opportunity to explore the quirks of the 31st century, cementing its status as one of the most recognisable and beloved vehicles in modern animated TV history.
Why Collect It
More than a simple object, this Q-Fig represents a key piece for any pop‑culture and animation enthusiast. Included in the prestigious QMX Mini Masters Vehicles line, its status as a July 2016 Loot Crate exclusive adds rarity value, making it a sought‑after prize for collectors who crave distinctive and hard‑to‑find pieces.
