Get ready to showcase the Pueblo Vista defender with a level of detail and presence that commands every corner of your display.
The Scene
The statue faithfully recreates Jaime Reyes’ dynamic pose, rendered in an athletic crouch while wearing the symbiotic Scarab armor. This appearance is taken directly from the live‑action film Blue Beetle (2023), capturing the visual essence of the character as presented on screen in its cinematic version.
The Character
The bond between Jaime Reyes and the Scarab represents one of the most significant turning points in the new DC heroes universe. It isn’t just an inherited superpower but an ancient symbiosis: alien biotechnology wreckage fuses with the protagonist’s spine, transforming a recent graduate into a force capable of generating high‑tech weapons. This 2023 cinematic version marks a pivotal moment, bringing the symbiotic dynamic to the big screen for the first time, giving the character a central role in DCEU storytelling. For collectors, this statue is not just a figure but a tribute to Jaime’s first live‑action incarnation, capturing the essence of his rise from ordinary student to Earth defender via the biomechanical power of the Scarab.
Why Collect It
Displaying this statue in your showcase means more than just exhibiting a piece from the DC Multiverse line—it celebrates the cinematic return of a hero who has won a global audience. The monumental 12‑inch scale, reserved for Megafig editions, gives the figure a visual weight that distinctly sets it apart from the standard 7‑inch variants, making it an invaluable focal point for any display. It represents the epic fusion of alien technology and human soul, a symbol of resilience that elevates the collection beyond simple accumulation, turning it into a tangible tribute to the history of new DC heroes.
