MaterialePlasticMaterialePlasticMomo Ayase returns in a new dynamic incarnation with Ver. 2 of the S.H.Figuarts line, an edition that captures the character’s overwhelming energy with an even more expressive pose. This McFarlane Toys piece is not just a statue, but an invitation to relive the adrenaline of Dandadan right on your shelf, combining the artisanal precision of the sculpture with the timeless charm of the animated series.
The Scene
This incarnation captures Momo Ayase’s more everyday side, portraying her as a high‑school student. The scene focuses on her iconic school uniform, consisting of a pink turtleneck, a blue pleated skirt, and white socks, exactly as it appears in the anime series Dandadan (2024). It is a snapshot that balances her supernatural nature with the normality of everyday life, offering collectors the opportunity to display the character in her most accessible and recognizable context.
The Character
In the heart of Dandadan, Momo Ayase is not simply a student but the driving force that pulls the narrative into a vortex of supernatural action. Armed with psychokinetic powers and an untamed spirit, she leaps head‑first into battles against bizarre aliens and terrifying spirits, serving as a dynamic and courageous counterpart to her classmate Okarun. Her importance in the saga lies in the ability to turn everyday high‑school adventures into epic battles, embodying the modern essence of a heroine who combines brute force, intelligence, and an uncompromising attitude. This narrative depth is what makes her central in the universe created by Yukinobu Tatsu, making her an essential figure for anyone following the narrative arc of this manga and anime hit.
