OBI-WAN KENOBI returns in 1:18 scale with the iconic Kenner cardboard from the Vintage Collection, identified by code VC103. This 3.75‑inch figure captures the essence of the era line, offering an authentic entry point for collectors seeking the historical precision of the original format.
The Character
Much more than a simple master, Obi‑Wan Kenobi represents the spiritual pillar of the Star Wars saga, embodying the ultimate ideal of the Jedi Order. His narrative arc is defined by a quiet, steady sacrifice: after serving as a General during the Clone Wars, he chooses exile on Tatooine to protect the promise made to his student, Anakin. In this \"Ben Kenobi\" guise, his role becomes crucial for the destiny of the galaxy, as he trains Luke Skywalker, closing the circle between the two generations of heroes. This duality between legendary warrior and wise hermit makes him the definitive symbol of Jedi wisdom, a character whose importance transcends single battles to touch the very heart of the struggle between Good and Evil.
Why Collect It
The Vintage Collection is not just a toy line, but a historical archive that preserves Kenner's original soul. Owning a figure like the VC103 means safeguarding an authentic piece of that first, unforgettable plastic and dream universe, where every detail is tuned to evoke pure nostalgia. In a display, this compact iconic scale doesn't compete for space, but for emotional value: it is the tangible proof of how much the myth endures over time, a collectible item that speaks directly to those who saw the saga birth and to those who today celebrate its artisanal perfection.
