- Zombie Red Hulk
Zombie Red Hulk #790: the fury of the Red Giant, now in apocalyptic form for Funko Pop!'s Marvel line. A collectible piece that captures the essence of destruction in 9.5 cm of pure vinyl, ready to dominate your display.
The Scene
This figure captures Red Hulk in his terrifying zombie look, just as he appears in the Marvel Zombies comic series. The attention to detail focuses on rotting flesh and fluorescent yellow eyes, faithfully recreating the iconic image of the Red Giant in this apocalyptic variant.
The Character
Before becoming the devastating Red Hulk, Thaddeus 'Thunderbolt' Ross was a relentless hunter of Bruce Banner, a role that defined his military identity and unwavering determination. His transformation into a creature of fire and brute force marked his narrative apex, but within the horror multiverse of Marvel Zombies, even this titan power proves insufficient against catastrophe. His appearance in Marvel Zombies: Resurrection (2020) is not just a cameo, but a statement of how unstoppable the contagion is: not even the most feared of Hulk’s enemies can escape the fate of fallen heroes. This story arc turns Ross from antagonist to victim, adding a layer of tragic pathos to his figure. For collectors, this variant represents the perfect intersection of Marvel’s darkest saga and one of the universe’s most iconic and heavy characters, offering a unique look at how the zombie apocalypse has redefined the very meaning of brute strength.
