- Queen Summer vinyl figure
Queen Summer, the alternate and powerful version of Summer Smith, debuts in the Animation line of Rick & Morty with Pop! #1048. A multiverse icon that every collector will recognize and cherish on their shelf.
The Scene
The figure recreates Queen Summer’s ultimate ascension moment in the multiverse: we see her reign over the Glorzo race on Planet 3G, an image taken from the episode Promortyus of season four of Rick and Morty. It is a portrait of Smith who, after embracing the facehugger, transformed her power into an absolute crown, capturing the essence of her alternate and dominant version.
The Character
From the role of a left‑behind niece to cosmic adventures, Summer Smith has undergone a narrative transformation that crowns her the series’ quintessential anti‑hero. In her incarnation as Queen Summer, the character is no longer the chaotic sidekick but a conscious sovereign who embraces the multiverse’s madness with unmatched intellectual and physical ferocity. This evolution is crucial to the saga: it shows how Summer’s cynical intelligence can carve a place in the harshest realms, overcoming toxic family dynamics with Rick and Morty to assert herself as an autonomous and formidable force, capable of leading entire races through stellar chaos.
Why Collect It
It is not just a resin figurine: it is a physical embodiment of Rick and Morty’s creative chaos. Having Queen Summer on display means owning a piece of that multiversal narrative that has redefined modern animated television’s boundaries. Her presence adds an immediate, tangible weight to the collection, turning a simple display into a statement of intent for true fans of the series. It is the type of Pop! that, once positioned, is never merely looked at: it is admired, because it perfectly encapsulates the essence of a franchise that never stops surprising, making every new chapter of the Animation line an indispensable piece to complete the mosaic of this parallel universe.
