Following the launch of Apex Legends in February 2019, Electronic Arts signed a multi-year master toy deal with Jakks Pacific in 2020.
The toy line debuted in late 2020 with Wave 1, featuring primary Legends Bloodhound, Pathfinder, and Wraith in their default in-game skins.
Between 2021 and 2022, Jakks expanded the line across six main release waves, introducing fan-favorite characters like Octane, Revenant, Caustic, Loba, and Crypto. To appeal to deeper lore fans, Jakks introduced skin variants from the Stories from the Outlands animated web series, such as Voidwalker Wraith and Young Blood Bloodhound.
