Biografia

Trafalgar D. Water Law is a pirate from the North Blue serving as both the captain and doctor of the Heart Pirates. Recognized as one of twelve notorious pirates from the 'Worst Generation,' Law earned the epithet 'Surgeon of Death' due to his extraordinary medical skills and deadly combat prowess amplified by his Ope Ope no Mi Devil Fruit.

Driven by a desire to discover the truth behind the mysterious 'Will of D.' and locate the One Piece, he briefly served as one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea after delivering 100 pirate hearts to Marine Headquarters, though his title was revoked following his equal alliance with Monkey D. Luffy. Law's narrative presence is central to the Post-Timeskip sagas of One Piece.

Forming a strategic pirate alliance with the Straw Hat Pirates on Punk Hazard, Law orchestrated campaigns that successfully brought down Donquixote Doflamingo in Dressrosa and contributed to the defeat of Emperors Kaido and Big Mom in Wano Country. Following these monumental victories, his bounty reached 3,000,000,000 Berries. Despite his cold, calculated demeanor, Law is bound by a deep sense of loyalty to his crew and allies. His journey takes a critical turn post-Wano when the Heart Pirates are ambushed by Marshall D. Teach (Blackbeard) at Winner Island, resulting in the destruction of his submarine, the Polar Tang, and forcing his escape into the sea alongside Bepo.

LO SAPEVI?Law delivered 100 pirate hearts to Marine Headquarters to earn his position as a Seven Warlord of the Sea.

Storia

Born in the prosperous North Blue city of Flevance, known as 'The White City,' Law spent his early childhood studying medicine under his doctor father alongside his younger sister, Lami. Flevance was built on the mining of Amber Lead, a substance that caused Amber Lead Syndrome—a fatal, non-contagious condition.

Ignorant neighboring nations declared war on Flevance out of fear, slaughtering its citizens. Law tragically lost his entire family and medical school classmates, escaping the massacre as the sole survivor by hiding under a pile of corpses.

Infected with terminal Amber Lead poisoning and filled with hatred, a 10-year-old Law joined the Donquixote Pirates, intending to inflict as much destruction as possible before dying. There, he met Donquixote Rosinante (Corazon), Doflamingo's younger brother working undercover for the Marines. Rosinante took Law on a medical journey to find a cure, eventually force-feeding him the stolen Ope Ope no Mi, which cured Law's illness. Rosinante sacrificed his life to save Law from Doflamingo, prompting Law to flee to Swallow Island, where he met Bepo, Penguin, and Shachi, forming the Heart Pirates in Rosinante's memory.

LO SAPEVI?His cursed nodachi sword, Kikoku, is decorated with white cross patterns along its scabbard.

Evoluzione

Trafalgar Law’s arc represents a transformation driven by grief, revenge, and structural purpose. Starting as an innocent child studying medicine in Flevance, the traumatic destruction of his family stripped him of his humanity, driving a 10-year-old Law to join the Donquixote Pirates with a self-destructive urge to inflict violence before his death.

Rosinante's selflessness saved Law's life and re-anchored his moral compass, shifting Law's life goal from nihilistic destruction to destroying Doflamingo's empire to fulfill Corazon's memory. Following the timeskip, Law enters the New World as a calculating mastermind. His pragmatic, cold alliance with Luffy slowly softens through the Straw Hats' chaotic unpredictability. After achieving his personal goal with Doflamingo's defeat in Dressrosa, Law transitions into an ambitious seeker of historical truth, striving alongside Luffy and Kid to uncover the Will of D. and defeat the Emperors Kaido and Big Mom, culminating in his Devil Fruit awakening.

Da Collezione

For One Piece collectors, Trafalgar Law is a premier high-tier character whose releases command immense market demand. His signature visual elements—from his spotted fur hat and finger tattoos to his massive nodachi Kikoku—make him a standout subject for premium statues and scale figures.

MegaHouse regularly leads the market with their flagship Portrait.Of.Pirates (P.O.P) line, where the P.O.P 'Sailing Again' and P.O.P Maximum Wano Arc figures represent major grails with high aftermarket values. In action figures, Bandai Spirits' S.H.Figuarts line provides highly articulated renditions of his Dressrosa and Raid on Onigashima outfits. Additionally, the launch of the One Piece Card Game (OPTCG) has made Law cards top-tier collectibles. Chase cards like the ST10-001/ST10-010 Red/Purple Law Leader and the rare OP10 Manga Alternate Art Law represent some of the most sought-after collector pieces across modern anime TCG formats.
