Biografia

Silene Oliveira, known by her code name Tokyo, is a fierce, hot-headed, and fiercely independent criminal who serves as the primary narrator of Money Heist.

Recruited by the mysterious criminal mastermind known as The Professor after becoming a wanted fugitive, she plays a central role in both the Royal Mint of Spain heist and the Bank of Spain heist. Known for her volatile personality and passion, Tokyo forms a intense romantic relationship with the crew's young hacker, Rio.

Throughout the heists, her unpredictable nature leads to power struggles, including heavy clashes against Berlin, yet she maintains deep loyalty toward her crew members. Her narrative reaches its peak during the Bank of Spain heist in Part 5. Cornered during a brutal military raid, Tokyo makes an ultimate sacrifice to protect her remaining family, taking down her enemies in a massive explosion. Even after her physical death, her voiceover continues to narrate the remainder of the series.

LO SAPEVI?Tokyo started committing heists at age 14 alongside her first boyfriend, René.

Storia

Born in Spain, Silene Oliveira developed a rebellious streak from an early age.

At age 14, she entered a romantic relationship with an older man named René and embarked on a life of crime, successfully carrying out 15 heists together.

However, their 16th heist—targeting a Prosegur pickup truck—ended in tragedy when a shootout resulted in René's death. On the run as a heavily wanted fugitive from Spanish authorities, Silene was nearly trapped when her own mother unknowingly participated in a police sting operation. Just as police closed in, The Professor saved her from capture and offered her a clean slate and a role in a multi-billion-euro heist, leading her to select the alias 'Tokyo'.

LO SAPEVI?Her own mother unknowingly helped Spanish police set up a sting operation to trap her after a failed pickup truck heist.
