RUBEUS HAGRID
Rubeus Hagrid is a half-giant wizard, Keeper of Keys and Grounds, and Professor of Care of Magical Creatures at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Known for his towering stature, gentle heart, and passion for dangerous magical beasts, he is one of Albus Dumbledore's most loyal allies and a foundational figure in Harry Potter's life.
Cronologia
Biografia
Rubeus Hagrid was born on December 6, 1928, to a human wizard father and the giantess Fridwulfa. Raised in the West Country of England, he was abandoned by his mother at age three and raised by his loving father. Accepted into Hogwarts in 1940 and sorted into Gryffindor, Hagrid's schooling was cut short during his third year when Tom Riddle framed him for opening the Chamber of Secrets.
Despite his expulsion and the destruction of his wand, Albus Dumbledore ensured Hagrid stayed at Hogwarts as gamekeeper-in-training. Over the decades, Hagrid became an indispensable figure at Hogwarts, officially taking over full Gamekeeper duties around 1968 and serving as an original member of the Order of the Phoenix. In 1981, Dumbledore entrusted Hagrid to rescue baby Harry Potter from the destroyed house in Godric's Hollow.
Ten years later, Hagrid personally delivered Harry's Hogwarts letter, introducing him to the wizarding world and becoming his lifelong friend and protector. In 1993, Hagrid was appointed Professor of Care of Magical Creatures. He stood firmly alongside Dumbledore and Harry throughout the Second Wizarding War, participating in key battles including the Battle of the Astronomy Tower and the Battle of Hogwarts, where he carried Harry's body back to the castle before the Dark Lord's final defeat.
Storia
Hagrid's origins are rooted in a rare union between a wizard and a giantess. Growing up near the Forest of Dean, Hagrid rapidly outgrew his father, reaching a point where by age six he could physically lift his father onto a dresser.
His father died during Hagrid's second year at Hogwarts, leaving him an orphan. During his third year in 1943, Hagrid secretly raised a young Acromantula named Aragog in the school dungeons.
When Tom Riddle opened the Chamber of Secrets and caused the death of Myrtle Warren, Riddle used Hagrid's secret pet to scapegoat him. Hagrid was expelled and forbidden from practicing magic, though Dumbledore's intervention secured his future as keeper of the grounds.

His official appointment to Hogwarts Professor in 1993 marked his complete rehabilitation within the academic community, transforming him from a disgraced student into a revered educator and hero of the Battle of Hogwarts.
