Demonstrating deep courage and intellect, Mariposa embarks on a dangerous journey outside the kingdom alongside her pet puffball Zee and companions Rayna and Rayla to locate a hidden antidote. Her success in healing the Queen earns her newfound confidence and a spectacular transformation of her wings. She later expands her heroics in Barbie: Mariposa & the Fairy Princess, serving as Flutterfield's Royal Ambassador to the rival crystal fairy realm of Shimmervale, where she foils the dark fairy Gwyllion and secures peace between the two kingdoms.
