KAIDO
Kaido of the Beasts, renowned as the world's 'Strongest Creature', is the former Governor-General of the Beasts Pirates and a former Emperor of the Sea (Yonko). Originally a child soldier from the Vodka Kingdom, he rose through the ranks of the legendary Rocks Pirates before occupying Wano Country for nearly three decades. His tyrannical reign ended after his defeat by Monkey D. Luffy during the Onigashima Raid, causing him to lose his Yonko status.
Cronologia
Biografia
Kaido of the Beasts is the Governor-General of the Beasts Pirates and was formerly one of the Four Emperors who ruled over the New World. Known as the world's 'Strongest Creature', he stands as an imposing 710 cm tall warrior who possesses unmatched physical power, mastery over all three forms of Haki, and the Mythical Zoan Azure Dragon Devil Fruit.
Operating out of Onigashima in Wano Country for nearly thirty years, Kaido built a formidable military force driven by his philosophy that war is the only true measure of a person's worth. Throughout the narrative, Kaido serves as the overarching antagonist of the Dressrosa Saga and the main antagonist of the Wano Country Arc.
He underwrote a vast network of artificial Devil Fruits (SAD/SMILE) alongside Donquixote Doflamingo and Caesar Clown, and eventually formed a powerful pirate alliance with fellow former Rocks crewmate Big Mom. His ultimate goal of starting the largest war in the world was halted when the Ninja-Pirate-Mink-Samurai Alliance raided Onigashima, where Kaido was defeated by Monkey D. Luffy and knocked into Wano's subterranean magma.
Storia
Born around 59 years ago in the Vodka Kingdom, Kaido was raised as a child soldier. At age ten, he was traded by his king to the Marines in exchange for the kingdom's right to attend the Levely, but he promptly escaped.
Earning an initial bounty of 70,000,000 Berries due to his frequent captures and escapes, a 15-year-old Kaido was recruited on Hachinosu by Edward Newgate into the legendary Rocks Pirates under Rocks D. Xebec. During the God Valley Incident 38 years ago, the Rocks Pirates collapsed following their defeat by Gol D. Roger and Monkey D. Garp.
In the chaotic aftermath, Big Mom gave Kaido his Mythical Zoan Azure Dragon Devil Fruit. In the years that followed, Kaido was captured by Marines and experimented on at Punk Hazard, where Dr. Vegapunk created an artificial clone of his Devil Fruit. Kaido escaped Punk Hazard with King (Alber) and founded the Beasts Pirates. Around 31 years ago, he was approached by Kurozumi Higurashi to ally with Kurozumi Orochi, taking over Wano Country and executing Kozuki Oden 20 years ago to cement his control.

Evoluzione
Kaido's physical design and mindset evolved significantly over the decades. As a ten-year-old child in the Vodka Kingdom, he wore a scarf with shoulder-length hair. By age fifteen, he joined the Rocks Pirates with a much better-proportioned athletic build compared to his top-heavy adult physique. During his battle against Kozuki Oden 20 years ago, Kaido wore a dark-blue sleeveless leather jacket, had a chest-length Fu Manchu mustache without a chin beard, and possessed no visible scars prior to Oden's attack.
In his present 59-year-old form, Kaido stands at 710 cm with massive curved horns, a spiked goatee, a red reptilian scale tattoo on his left arm, and a prominent X-shaped chest scar (alongside a secondary scar added by Roronoa Zoro). Ideologically, Kaido transitioned from an ambitious youth interested in the legend of Joy Boy into a cynical, war-obsessed tyrant who drowned his sorrows in alcohol and attempted suicide as a hobby, ultimately concluding that Joy Boy was the only figure capable of defeating him.
