Cronologia
Biografia
Jason Lee Scott is the original Red Power Ranger and the inaugural leader of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, recruited by Zordon from the city of Angel Grove. A skilled martial artist and dedicated mentor to his students, Jason led the original team through their earliest conflicts against Rita Repulsa and Lord Zedd.
As the Red Ranger, he commanded the Tyrannosaurus Dinozord and the Red Dragon Thunderzord, while also temporarily wielding the Dragon Shield and Dragon Dagger passed to him by Tommy Oliver.
After transferring his Red Ranger powers to Rocky DeSantos to attend a peace conference, Jason later returned to Angel Grove as the Gold Zeo Ranger, utilizing the Golden Power Staff to aid his teammates against the Machine Empire. BOOM! Studios comic continuity revealed that his departure was a cover for secret interstellar missions as the Red Omega Ranger. Throughout the franchise, Jason remains one of the most iconic power rangers, returning for anniversary crossover events such as 'Forever Red' and 'Grid Connection'.
Storia
Prior to becoming a Power Ranger, Jason was a young child in Angel Grove who engaged in bullying behavior, once going so far as to break a bow and arrow made by a younger child. Vowing to change his ways and become a better person, Jason enrolled in karate classes.
Over six years of dedicated martial arts training, he progressed from a student to an instructor at Ernie's Juice Bar and Gym in the Angel Grove Youth Center. During this period, he also met Zack Taylor at the Angel Grove Community Center, forming a lifelong friendship.
While conducting a karate class with his close friends Zack, Billy Cranston, Trini Kwan, and Kimberly Hart, an earthquake struck Angel Grove. Teleported to the Command Center, the group was greeted by Alpha 5 and Zordon, who selected them to defend Earth against Rita Repulsa. While the others initially hesitated, Jason's natural leadership qualities led him to embrace the duty, morphing into the first Mighty Morphin Red Ranger.

Evoluzione
Jason Lee Scott's trajectory across the franchise is marked by personal growth and evolving leadership responsibilities. Beginning as a reformed childhood bully who channeled his energy into karate, Jason was chosen by Zordon for his natural integrity and martial skill. Early in his leadership, he harbored immense self-imposed pressure, frequently taking personal blame for team setbacks—such as the loss of Tommy Oliver's Green Ranger powers to the Green Candle.
When Tommy returned as the White Ranger, Jason displayed humility by stepping down as team leader to serve as second-in-command. His role expanded substantially past his initial departure for the World Peace Conference. Re-emerging in Power Rangers Zeo, Jason stepped up to wield the Gold Zeo powers when Trey of Triforia could no longer sustain them. In BOOM! Studios' expanded comic universe, his narrative deepened further by revealing that his peace conference attendance was a cover for secret cosmic missions as the Red Omega Ranger. Across television crossovers like 'Forever Red' and comic events like 'Shattered Grid', Jason matured into a revered veteran leader of the Morphin Grid.
