JANNAH
Jannah, originally designated TZ-1719, is a former First Order stormtrooper who led Company 77 in a mass defection before becoming a key ally to the Resistance. Living in exile on the ocean moon Kef Bir, she joined Finn and the Resistance during the Battle of Exegol to help defeat the Sith Eternal.

Jannah, initially designated TZ-1719, was abducted from her family as a child by the First Order and trained under Captain Phasma in Company 77. Despite her military conditioning, she developed exceptional archery skills, becoming an expert energy bow markswoman. Her life took a defining turn during a deployment to Ansett Island, where Company 77 was ordered to execute civilians.
Prompted by an instinct later recognized as the Force, the entire unit laid down their weapons and defected together. Adopting the name Jannah, she emerged as the leader of her former squad and established a hidden community on Kef Bir, an ocean moon of Endor. There, her tribe survived by scavenging Death Star II wreckage and riding native grass-dwelling creatures called Orbaks.
In 35 ABY, Jannah met Resistance operatives Finn, Rey, Poe Dameron, Chewbacca, C-3PO, and BB-8. Bonding with Finn over their shared history as First Order defectors, she assisted them in navigating the treacherous ocean wreckage. After joining the Resistance forces on Ajan Kloss, Jannah played a critical role in the Battle of Exegol. She led an Orbak-mounted ground charge across the surface of the Star Destroyer Steadfast, working alongside Finn to destroy the command bridge. Following the galactic victory, veteran hero Lando Calrissian offered to travel the galaxy with Jannah to help her discover her true home and origins.

Born by 11 ABY, Jannah spent her childhood taken from her family to be molded into a soldier for the First Order.
Designated TZ-1719, she was assigned to Company 77 under Captain Phasma's command. Years prior to 35 ABY, Company 77 was deployed during the Battle of Ansett Island.
When ordered to commit a massacre against civilians, TZ-1719 and her entire company refused to fire, feeling a sudden, shared moral instinct. After laying down their arms, the group escaped and sought refuge on Kef Bir, where Jannah took up the leadership of the exiled unit.

Jannah's trajectory transforms her from a child soldier to a tribal leader and galactic hero. Beginning as stormtrooper TZ-1719 under Captain Phasma, her internal conscience broke through First Order conditioning on Ansett Island.
Adopting the name Jannah, she evolved into the leader ('Boss') of Company 77 on Kef Bir. Upon meeting Finn, her purpose expanded from local survival to galactic liberation at the Battle of Exegol. In post-Episode IX lore such as the 2025 novel The Last Order, Jannah's role further evolves as she teams up with Finn to actively hunt down First Order remnants and protect kidnapped children.
