GREEN GOBLIN
The Green Goblin is a ruthless, chemically-enhanced super-villain created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, serving as Spider-Man's ultimate arch-nemesis. Armed with explosive pumpkin bombs and his high-tech Goblin Glider, the villainous persona is primarily driven by insane industrialist Norman Osborn, though several successors have also carried the mantle.
Cronologia
Biografia

The Green Goblin is one of Marvel Comics' most cruel and iconic super-villains, created by writer Stan Lee and artist Steve Ditko.
Empowered by the volatile 'Goblin Formula'—an unstable variant of the Super-Soldier Serum—he possesses superhuman strength, speed, and durability, gliding through the skies on a high-tech personal craft while hurling deadly explosive pumpkin bombs.
Underneath the terrifying mask lies Norman Osborn, the brilliant yet ruthless CEO of Oscorp, whose chemical-induced insanity sparked an enduring obsession with Spider-Man (Peter Parker). Throughout comic book history, Norman Osborn has served as Spider-Man's central antagonist, orchestrating some of the wall-crawler's greatest personal tragedies. Although Norman is the definitive Green Goblin, the mantle has been inherited by others over the decades, including his son Harry Osborn, psychiatrist Dr. Bart Hamilton, and Daily Bugle reporter nephew Phil Urich. Despite surviving apparent deaths, transforming into alternate identities, and briefly attempting heroic redemption, Norman Osborn perpetually relapses into his malicious Goblin persona.
Storia

The Green Goblin made his debut in The Amazing Spider-Man #14 in July 1964 as a mysterious, unnamed criminal riding a flying broomstick before transitioning to his signature Goblin Glider.
His true identity as industrialist Norman Osborn, head of Oscorp, was revealed two years later in The Amazing Spider-Man #39–40 (1966).
Osborn gained his superhuman abilities and severe instability after absorbing a chemical formulation he was developing. His deep rivalry with Peter Parker reached a historic turning point in 1973's 'The Night Gwen Stacy Died' (The Amazing Spider-Man #121–122), where Osborn murdered Peter's girlfriend, Gwen Stacy, by throwing her off the George Washington Bridge before seemingly dying himself when impaled by his own glider.

Evoluzione
Beginning as an unnamed villain riding a broomstick in 1964, the Green Goblin transformed into Spider-Man's primary arch-nemesis once Norman Osborn was unmasked in 1966. Following his apparent death in 1973, a 'Legacy Era' began where the mantle was taken up by Harry Osborn, Bart Hamilton, and later a heroic variant in Phil Urich.
In 1996's Clone Saga, Norman returned from the dead, evolving from a street-level villain into a shadowy mastermind. During the Dark Reign era, Osborn elevated his power to a national scale as director of H.A.M.M.E.R. and leader of the Dark Avengers under his Iron Patriot persona. After later bonding with Carnage as the Red Goblin, Osborn underwent a mystical purification by Sin-Eater in 2020, briefly serving as the heroic Gold Goblin before reverting back to his sinister Green Goblin identity in 2024.

In gaming and construction media, the character gained widespread exposure through playable digital minifigure representations in titles like LEGO Marvel Super Heroes and LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2.
Furthermore, his early retro gaming history stems back to the iconic 1982 Atari 2600 Spider-Man title. Screen adaptations, particularly Willem Dafoe's portrayal in 2002's Spider-Man and 2021's Spider-Man: No Way Home, along with comic iterations like the Red Goblin and Gold Goblin, continue to drive media representation and digital character collectibles across mobile and console gaming platforms.
