Makoa Gibraltar is a gentle giant with a rebellious streak who serves as a Support class Legend in Apex Legends. Standing 6'5" (196 cm) tall and weighing 292 lbs (132 kg), he acts as an immovable defensive anchor for his team.
He is the son of two volunteers for S.A.R.A.S. (Search and Rescue Association of Solace), an organization founded by his family in 2525. Despite the dangerous environment of the Outlands, Gibraltar has always excelled at rescuing others from perilous situations.
He entered the Apex Games when his friends and colleagues began competing for fame and money, with several failing to return home. Gibraltar joined the bloodsport to act as their shield, combining his professional rescue training with his natural physical resilience to protect his squad from harm.
Storia
Gibraltar's devotion to saving lives was forged during his teenage years. One day, he and his boyfriend took his father's motorcycle on a joyride and became trapped by a sudden, deadly mudslide.
His parents launched a rescue mission and saved them, but the incident cost his father his arm. Traumatized by the magnitude of that sacrifice, Gibraltar vowed to dedicate his life to protecting others.
His personal life has seen its share of hardships: he once allowed the love of his life to take the fall for a mistake he made, later encountering him again in an effort to make amends. Prior to and during his time in the Apex Games, Gibraltar served as a part-time volunteer with S.A.R.A.S., consistently prioritizing duty and rescue work over the fame of being a Legend.
