WrestleMania 37 Elite Collection

This figure appearance specifically represents 'The Heartbreak Kid' Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania IX, held on April 4, 1993, at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada. On that iconic afternoon in the Roman-themed outdoor arena, Shawn Michaels defended his WWF Intercontinental Championship against the undefeated Tatanka. The match brought high stakes and personal tension to the ring: Michaels entered accompanied by his former manager, Sensational Sherri, who observed from ringside, while Tatanka was flanked by Luna Vachon. The high-profile championship clash highlighted HBK's status as one of the premier rising stars of the WWF New Generation Era on wrestling's grandest stage.

WrestleMania IX was a defining milestone in Shawn Michaels' legendary career, solidifying his transition from tag team specialist in The Rockers to a dominant solo star. As the reigning WWF Intercontinental Champion, HBK anchored the New Generation Era throughout the early 1990s with his flamboyance and ring work. His performance at Caesars Palace cemented his trademark 'Heartbreak Kid' persona in pay-per-view history, setting the foundation for his future main-event legacy, his co-founding of D-Generation X, and his eventual role as WWE's Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative.

The WrestleMania 37 Elite figure faithfully replicates HBK's distinct WrestleMania IX entrance and ring outfit. It features his signature black, white, cyan, and silver-studded ring attire, accented with matching silver studs along his tights and boots. The figure includes a removable silver-studded entrance jacket, classic dark sunglasses, and swappable alternative hands for ring poses. In addition, the package included a lower torso Build-A-Figure piece to assemble legendary manager Paul Ellering as part of the WrestleMania 37 Elite assortment.
